Call for Nominations of Dean of the College

• The College is publicly seeking candidates for the position of Dean. The term is three years (from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2028). Nominations for suitable candidates from all sectors are welcome.
• The Dean candidate should meet the following requirements:

1. Holds or has held a full professorship at a domestic or foreign university or equivalent.
2. Possess a broad vision for education, enthusiasm for service, substantial administrative experience, and strong leadership capabilities.
3. Has demonstrated academic excellence.

• The Dean candidates are nominated by one of the following procedures:

1. A nomination is signed by at least seven full-time faculty members of the College.
2. Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by others and must receive the approval of at least one-third of the Search Committee members.

• Application deadline:

Those interested in nominating or self-nominating should complete the "Nomination Form for Dean Candidate of the College of Computer Science, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University" and prepare the related supporting materials (including a Curriculum Vitae, development plan, and service philosophy for the College, limited to 20 pages). These should be submitted along with an electronic copy by registered mail (postmarked) or delivery in person (with committee signature confirmation) to the following address by Friday, November 15, 2024:
